Growing up in a small farm town, reading is a way for me to escape and also enjoy myself. Books remind myself that there is so much out there that I can see and experience.

Below are my top 3 books that make me always want to go on adventures:

1: Doraemon:
Nobita and Doraemon are the pair of friendship we thrive for. With Doreamin tools, especially Takekoputa, the manga series have changed generations of children in Vietnam and Asia.
Nobita is a below-average student, he once told Doraemon: “Thinking you’re no-good and worthless is the worst thing you can do”.

2: Harry Potter:
“Anything is possible if you’ve got enough nerve” — Ginny Wesly, in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix

3: The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy
Like traveling, this book helped me break the preassumes that I have about myself and others.

“For instance, on the planet Earth, men had always assumed that he was more intelligent than dolphins because he had achieved so much — the wheel, New York, wars and so on — whilst all the dolphins had ever done was muck about in the water having a good time. But conversely, the dolphins had always believed that they were far more intelligent than man — for precisely the same reasons” — Douglas Adams, The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy.

Let’s the adventure begin and the rest is unwritten.
